Famous Art Deco Should They Build A Suicide Barrier On The Golden Gate Bridge?

Should they build a suicide barrier on the Golden Gate Bridge? - famous art deco

I saw a movie called "The Bridge" of all suicides occurring in the Golden Gate, and it is shocking to see all these people jumping to their deaths to be seen. For info and ran 250 meters in the water at 75 km / h, which is like a truck a concrete wall. Forensic describe their internal organs such as crushing the pulp of his ribs broken. Average number of bridges is 1 every two weeks and the total is now more than 1200 people aged 80 to 14 years. It is the most popular place to commit suicide in the world. But in San Francisco refused to build a barrier (ALA Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building would be), it is not aesthetically pleasing. Do you think it should be an obstacle, even though "ugly" the bridge a bit? Or we should not cloud an Art Deco landmark known for the love of a dozen bridges every year?

Well, if want to kill people, they do it, regardless of whether the bridge is available. 1200 is crazy amount of people though. I do not know what works and what does not so lucky the next time I cross the bridge.

Why not make your life in order to patrol the bridge to prevent people committing suicide?

I was there on Monday (the Bridge) and know that their data is entirely correct. However, they have a fence where the suicide is the country ... which means "ugly" the bridge, there .... Once I had reached the open area wonderful. But if the construction of the barrier, which is only to another bridge in the Bay Area, in cars or walking on the bridge. If people want to commit suicide, no matter where they may or may not. At least they are in a beautiful place, and perhaps have a last glimpse of hope.

An average of 1 every 2 weeks? Wow, I do not know. As to your question, I think we should build a fence well. I mean, if someone is really determined to kill themselves will find a way. I personally do not think that is an obstacle to reducing the number of suicides.

btw, when and where this great film was to throw? Or is it in the video? I also want to see.

If I to the SF path across the bridge and admire the magnificent views and fresh air. I would not because of something or someone to tell me about this opinion. Why spend millions of dollars if the people are already off you go?

No, she can easily climb a tower and jump. If you are fit enough for more than a trace of you are probably correspond enough to a tower high enough to jump to climb over the railing. I have 2 GG Bridge Bridge survivors. Guess what were his thoughts on the way down? Oh *^#$... What have I done?
